K M Marketing & Development Ltd (KMMD) is a marketing communications and publishing company, which works with areas of the public sector and its partner organisations.

We work within various sectors including adult learning, early education, local economic development, health and early years/childcare. The early years part of our business also started to develop publications and materials for various public sector organisations by producing commissioned 'customised'/branded publications for early years teams in local authorities and other childcare organisations. KMMD Publishing has grown out of this and is the publishing arm of K M Marketing & Development. As well as the KMMD Publishing website, it is also responsible for Harrow Publications - the early years publishing website of Harrow Council.

A strategic marketing, training and publications consultancy, we develop marketing plans and run training workshops for individual practitioners, childminders and carers. 

Our tailored workshops and mentoring programmes also train individual public sector teams and their local community based clients. Our parenting publications site, run through KM Publications (part of KMM), also helps childminders and parents/carers to effectively develop their knowledge through the individual publications we have developed in partnership with our clients.

The Early Years, Childcare and Parenting Publications website is now operated through K M Publications - part of KMM, in its extended form. 

The website started by selling early years, childcare and parenting publications to individual parents, carers, childminders, professionals and practitioners. However as new materials are developed, it now covers areas of early years education and also family health issues such as complex needs, pregnancy and healthy eating.

KMMD works with specialist practitioners from within the childcare, health and early years education sectors to develop new publications that can then be 'customised' and produced for other local authorities and organisations (such as children's centres and national childcare settings). These organisations and others like them, can save money by benefiting from the extensive work that has been done to initially develop the publications and get their own branded materials without the costs and time associated with the production of brand new concepts and publications.
